Product Summary

• Calamine is an anti-itch medicine that creates a cooling sensation as it evaporates on the skin. It can also dry oozing or weeping from minor skin irritation. Dries the oozing and weeping of poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac.
• It can treat diaper rashes in babies, soothe dry skin, and treat insect bites and chicken pox blisters.
• It has also been known to aid in treatment of minor skin irritations like psoriasis, eczema, and hives.
• Calamine lotion contains zinc oxide, which has anti-inflammatory properties. Studies have shown that this can help aid in acne treatment. Calamine lotion has also been known to help reduce dark spots and scars with consistent application.
• Calamine lotion has been used to help pregnant women who suffer from itchy skin and occasional spots and blotches in the abdomen area.

Directions

Adults and children 6 months of age and older: shake well before using. Moisten cotton or soft cloth with lotion and apply as often as needed for comfort.

Children under 6 months of age: consult a doctor.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Calamine 8.0% and Zinc Oxide 8.0%.

Inactive Ingredients: Bentonite Magma, Calcium Hydroxide, Glycerin, and Purified Water.

• For external use only. Use only as directed. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

• When using this product discontinue use if condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days, and consult a doctor.
